Reba's latest single, "Consider Me Gone," is her 23rd number-one hit on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart, and it's set a few records. It's the first number-one country song of the new decade, which means Reba has had number-one country hits over a span of four decades. Her first number-one hit, "Can't Even Get the Blues," topped the chart in January 1983. Dolly Parton is the only other female artist to pull that feat off on the country chart.
Also, Reba is the first solo female artist, besides Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift, to have a number-one country hit since 2005, when Sara Evans topped the chart with "A Real Fine Place to Start." Carrie has had eight number-one country hits in that time, and Taylor has scored four.
