Even though Brad Paisley has homes in Nashville and Los Angeles, you won't find him spending Christmas in California. Since he grew up in West Virginia, Brad likes to have wintertime temperatures for the holidays. He says, quote, "Getting bundled up is part of the charm, and shorts and eighty-degree weather is not conducive to some of the clothing that looks best -- scarves and toboggans." 

Brad also admits that, like most men, he's a last-minute Christmas shopper, saying, quote, "I really do end up somewhere like the mall on the 24th. It's a shame. It's really a waste of what should be a fun day."   Despite all the running around from store to store, Brad's never really satisfied that he's done a good job Christmas shopping, either. He says, quote, "You end up buying all these things, and it's a waste."
