American Idol finalist Danny Gokey has finished initial recording for his debut country album. In keeping with his image, there are plenty of songs with message of faith and hope, including the lead single "My Best Days Are Ahead of Me." Danny initially wanted to write songs himself, but his label told him there wasn't enough time to write and record at the same time. He tells USA Today, quote, "They were so right. There was no time. I'm glad I didn't, because it would have been a mess."  Fans of Danny's R&B side won't be disappointed with his debut album. He says there's a little soul injected into a few of the album's tracks as well. Look for Danny's album in stores early next year.
