Weekends are never long enough.  No matter how satisfying they are, I still feel jipped when I wake Monday morning wanting more of my weekend.  My weekend was productive as I got a little Christmas shopping done amidst the chaos of crabby shoppers who seemed to be at every store we went to.   I didn’t let that get to me and I just smiled bigger and was more polite to the scrooges that came out of the woodwork and got a little satisfaction when it seemed to make them frown even more.  Warped satisfaction?  Maybe.  I got a little bummed myself when I couldn’t make it to the Joe Nichol show at RJ’s Bullshooters Saturday night but it seems everyone and their brother is getting sick, along with my sitter ,so we went to the video store, got a bunch of movies, loads of popcorn and cuddled up on the couch. I’m ready to tackle this week and get to another weekend in just 5 days, bring it on! WDEZ Club Bonus is Weekend.
