The Green Bay Packers have decided to save their money and not designate Greg Jennings or anyone else as a franchise or transistion player. They were one of 24 teams that made that choice by yesterdays deadline. Even though Green Bay is a reported 22 million under the salary cap...this was the right move. They have a receiveing corps that is better than most even without Jennings and can now use that money to get extensions signed with Aaron Rodgers, Clay Matthews & BJ Raji
The Bucks have won four in a row after topping Utah in OT last night. Monta Ellis and Brandon Jennings led the way although they also got huge contributions from JJ Redick and Larry Sanders. Jennings has had 15+ assists for two straight games...the first Buck to do that since Sam Cassell in 1999. They head West for 3 games this week starting in LA tomorrow night vs the Clippers. They also face Golden State and Sacramento.
The Brewers take on Team Canada today which means John Axford and Jim Henderson could pitch against their own teammates.
