The Wausau West hockey team continues to roll along although Stevens Point appears to be closing the gap. West beat Spash last night 3-1 after winning earlier this season 8-1. Both teams are right back in action tonight in green bay as part of the Showdown in Titletown. West plays Appleton while Spash faces Madison Edgewood. 

The Wausau Newman girls basketball team beat Edgar last night and the Wausau East wrestling team beat Spash. Wausau West and Wisconsin Rapids won their wrestling matches last night setting up another showdown next week.

My broadcast schedule looks like this....tonight Wausau East at Wisconsin Rapids in boys hoops as the 2nd game of our doubleheader on Foxsports1390 WRIG (approx 9pm)...Saturday afternoon I'll be with the East hockey team in suburban Milwaukee as they take on Mequon Homestead at 1:15 . Monday night I'll have the East Boys BB team at Adams/Friendship. All games on Foxsports 1390 WRIG.

I still can't bring myself to pick the Jets this week. Colts and Vikes to meet in the Super Bowl.

After a holiday break and a couple of bye weeks the Central Wisconsin Saints get back into action this weekend at KB Willet Arena in Stevens Point against the Danville Inferno . Games tonight and Saturday at 7:15...also a Sunday morning game.

Don't Know Much-Linda Ronstadt & Aaron Neville (1989) another grammy winner and one of several duets the two did on Ronstadt's LP "Cry Like a Rainstorm, Howl Like the Wind. Two of the fabulous voices in pop music combine for some vocal magic.
