Michael Redd had worked his way back from a serious knee injury and was starting to find his shot and just like that it's over. Redd tore two liagaments in the same bad knee on Sunday and is done for the year. The Bucks are still on the hook for millions next year unless the contract can be voided. it's time for the Bucks to move on from the oft-injured Redd. The Bucks are in the midst of a week long trip out West. they balttled back from a 21 point first half deficit last night before losing to the Suns 105-101. they haven't won in Phoenix since 1987.
The Badger basketball team also suffered a serious injury over the weekend losing Jon Leuer with a broken bone in his wrist. The Badgers have moved up to 13th in the latest poll and will have to get some big contributions from some little used bench players to keep rolling in Leuer's abscence.
Did the Mark McGwire admission surprise you? I didn't think so. Is it too little too late? Does it mean the press will not hound him this spring when he begins his hitting coach duties with the Cardinals? We'll find out in a month.
I'll have girls basketball tonight as Wausau East travels to Tomahawk. The action will be on Foxsports 1390 WRIG at 7:05.

Don't Be Cruel-Bobby Brown (1988) not the Elvis chestnut but a funky New Jack Swing tune from the former New Edition bad boy. This is just before he became tabloid fodder as Whitney Houston's husband. Here it is
