Who Goes To The Hall?

Posted by Tom King on

the imageThe Baseball Writers Association will anoounce the newest members of the Hall of Fame today. Who gets in this time? Could this be Bert Blylevens turn. Some writers have changed their opinions of Blyleven and think he might make it this time. If I had a ballot it would include Blyleven, Tim Raines, Alan Trammel, Andre Dawson, Roberto Alomar, Barry Larkin & Jack Morris. One name sure to draw a mixed response is Edgar Martinez...the first mostly DH on the ballot. If the Major Leagues use the DH...then DH's should be considered for the  Hall of Fame and their lack of fielding skills should not be considered. Martinez played minor league ball in Wausau with the Timbers.

A good test for the Badger Basketball team tonight at East Lansing against Michigan State. The Spartans are a very good team but the Badgers are on a roll winning 6 straight and they've done it with Jon Leuer being in foul trouble. He'll need to stay on the floor tonight. You can hear the game on WSAU with pre game programming at 430 and the tip set for 5:30.
