Plenty for a sportsfan to do this weekend. Of course the weekend will finish up with the Super Bowl on Sunday night....i'm thinking New Orleans but I'm not going to wager it.

The Badger State Winter Games invade central wisconsin and will officially get under way tonight with the torch lighting ceremony in downtown Wausau. Come back Saturday for the snowboarding exhibition and the check out the MTV cameras for the show "Made"own as well. Granite Peak, Nine Mile, Marathon Park and Greenhcek will all be buzzing this weekend.

The Badger hockey teams play outdoors tomorrow at Camp Randall. The women first against Bemidji State and the men playing Michigan. tickets are available.

The Badger men's Basketball team plays at Michigan on Saturday afternoon.

The Central Wisconsin Saints junior hockey team have their final regular season series tonight, Saturday night and Sunday morning at KB Willet in Stevens Point against Saginaw, Michigan.

A big night of high school hoops tonight including two big matchups in the Valley. the Wausau West boys are at Marshfield while the Warrior girls host Marshfield. West is one game behind the Tigers in both Valley races.

I'll have the East boys at Stevens Point on Foxsports1390 WRIG...preganme at 7:00.
