The box score says it all....20 runs....25 hits...Braun 3-4 5 RBIs....Fielder hits his first hr and drives in 3...Jim Edmonds goes 4-6 with 3rbis...even starting pitcher Randy Wolf had 2 hits. The Brewers get healthy against the Pirates and now host the Cubs this weekend.

The Packers fill a need in the first round with Bryan Bulaga...an offensive tackle from Iowa. He can learn from Clifton & Tauscher and step in when one of them get hurt this season.

How about Tim Tebow to the Broncos in the middle of the first round. He gets a bit pissed when he is told he can't play quarterback in the NFL. We'll see.

College Football is coming to Wrigley Field after a 30 year absence. Illinois and Northwestern will play there November 20th.

Also the NCAA mens basketball tournament is moving to the Turner networks in 2011 and expanding to 68 teams. The announcement was made yesterday about a new 14 year agreement with Turner Broadcasting. Turner will use TBS, TNT and truTV to broadcast every tournament game live.

It looks like the high school baseball teams were channelling the Brewers yesterday with big scores put up all over central Wisconsin. DcEverest scored 23...Phillips and Ladysmith scored 26...Pittsville score 16...Rhinelander scored 14 and on and on. And don't look now but the Hodags are 4-0 in the Valley and East and West havent won a Valley game yet. The Lumberjacks and Warriors meet for the first time this year on Tuesday.

The Fez-Steely dan (1976) from "the Royal Scam"...the title of this tune does not refer to the middle eastern hat but is slang for a condom....at least that's what I've heard...of course with Becker-Fagen lyrics it's hard to tell
