The Milwaukee Bucks begin playoff action this afternoon against Atlanta. It's been 4 years since the Bucks made the playoffs and the way they played for much of this season made Bucks fans excited about what this team could do in the post-season....then Andrew Bogut lost his balance and and Milwaukee's chances of a long playoff run limped off the floor with him. Or did they? The Hawks are a talented bunch who have made the playoffs the past two years but the Bucks have played them tough this year and even without Bogut I wouldnt be surprised if Milwaukee makes a series of this. John Salmons has to continue to score as he has...the development of Irsan Ilyasova as an NBS scorer needs to continue....Brandon Jennings needs to play under control and dish the ball if the shots are not falling...and Kurt Thomas and Dan Gauzaric need to do the dirty work underneath. Can they win this series....sure...will they?...Hmnmm, the Magic -8-ball is murky...let's see what happens.

Who wins the NBA title this year...hard to pick against Cleveland but Dallas could give LA a run in the West.

The Brewer bullpen has suddenly become a major problem...Ken Macha surely needs to re-think Hawkins as the 8th inning guy...at least for awhile. You just can't blow late leads against teams like washington and expect to be considered a contender.

High school baseball today...a doubleheader on Foxsports1390 WRIG...Wausau East at Merrill at 9:45...DC Everest at Appleton North at 12:45.
