Oz The Great and Powerful tops box office

ozOz the Great and Powerful tops the box office at $80.3 Million.

My husband and I went to the theater on Saturday night to see Oz the Great and Powerful. I loved that the previews don't give anything away.

The Disney movie stars James Franco, Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz, Zach Braff, and Michelle Williams and tells the story of Oz's journey to Oz.

The king of Oz is dead and the prophecy said that a wizard of the same name would come save Oz. Three witches stand between Oz and the throne and he doesn't know which witch to trust.

My mom and sister plan on taking my 6 year old nephew to see it, but are a little worried that it might be too scary for him. The original was scary when the flying monkeys came and they ripped the scarecrow apart, but in this movie the flying baboons are heard, but not seen until the scene in which they are defeated. All in all I don't think it's too scary for him and I think the PG rating is appropriate.
