If you watch DIY shows you'll learn that wall colors are very important for your well being. If you have a baby that cries a lot and has a hard time sleeping you may want to take a look at the wall color. Yellow is cheerful and warm, but it also gives you energy so it makes it hard to sleep. Yellow is a great color for a kitchen, but not a bedroom especially not a nursery.
Good colors for a nursery include:
BLUE - camlming, means serenity
PINK - also calming
GREEN - tranquil
LAVENDER - calms and allows for relaxation
When we moved into our house we tried to paint each room appropriate colors. We painted the bathrooms and kitchen bright and bold colors. Our bedroom is a soft green and we painted what we always intended to be the nursery blue. Our spare room is the same neutral color as our living room and our hallway and stairwell are the same cream color as the office. Now that we've been in the house for almost 9 years we're thinking it's time for a few fresh coats so we're trying to figure out what colors will be good for the upgrade.
How often do you paint?
