67 year old actor Steve Martin is a first time father! Martin and his 41 year old wife just had their first child! There are no details available as to the sex of the baby or even when the baby arrived, but sources say it was sometime in December. 

TMZ caught the actor/comedian working out to get in shape or maybe just stay healthy to keep up with the newborn soon to be busy toddler. 

Could you imagine being a parent for the first time at the age of 67?

My cousin was in her late 40s when she had her first child and even that seems a bit too old to me. There are so many complications that are dangerous to both mother and baby beyond a certain age. But I suppose if you want to be a parent bad enough you'll take those risks.
