The Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Central Wisconsin are bringing back one of Wausau's favorite fundraising events, Big Taste. Big Taste will be held at The Grand Theater and Great Hall again this year Saturday September 22nd from 6-9pm with the main event "The Big Chef Showdown" happening inside the Grand Theater at 6pm. The Best of Town competition begins at 6:30 where guests are invited to taste amazing hor'd oeuvres, soups, desserts, and specialty drinks and vote for their favorites in 10 best of town categories. 

Chef David Lorio of Red Eye will be doing a cooking demonstration where you can ask questions get cooking tips and get an up close look at the finest kitchen equipment by Ferguson.

There will also be a live auction with some amazing auction items. 

I love this event. I had so much fun when I emceed the Big Chef Showdown the first couple years of Big Taste and have such fond memories of working with all the amazing chefs. I had no idea the culinary talent the Wausau area had until the Big Taste. I discovered new restaurants that my husband and I have enjoyed since tasting their samples at Big Taste.
