  1. Look at sites like blackfriday.com to find out which stores have teh things on your list as well as door busters.
  2. Make sure you pay attention to door buster times, because many stores have different door busters at different times.
  3. Take water, dehydration can make your Black Friday shopping trip end in misery
  4. Fill a thermos, unless you plan on hitting that $5 cup of coffee more than once
  5. Take a buddy. You never know if the crowd you're in is the one that's going to bum rush, and people have been known to lose their lives. Don't go alone.
  6. Have a plan. Map out your trip before you leave.
  7. Have an attitude adjustment. So many people refuse to go out because there are too many crabby people. Spread Christmas cheer.
  8. Share ideas. If you've already been to a store and they are out of something, tell people in line at the next store. They will be thankful they didn't waste their time.
  9. Set a budget!
  10. Have a strategy. If a store doesn't have what youwant as a time restricted door buster, try going two hours after it opens.
  11. Don't forget to eat. Bring snacks you don't need a blood sugar crash in the middle of your shopping trip.
  12. Don't get into a fight over materialistic items.
  13. Be mindful of elderly people they need a little extra time and space
  14. Get a baby sitter. Please don't drag your children with you that early in the morning! We got a message from a listener that witnessed a woman who let her child pee their pants because she refused to get out of line to take him to the bathroom!
  15. Most of all have fun!
