It's time to get Mia a new car seat. She's 1 tomorrow and almost to the weight limit of her current car seat which is 22 pounds. I think she's small enough to stay rear facing for a little longer, but we'll have to get a convertible car seat if we want to do that and many of them only go up to between 40 and 65 pounds. If we got a forward facing car seat we could use it for as long as she needs a car seat. However, according to the average height and weight chart I found online if she stays on the same curve she's on right now at 65 pounds she should reach the height requirement for the seat.
