I was so excited for the premier of So You Think You Can Dance and the stupid storm messed with my TV!!!
I got to see most of the auditions in New York and I still have the Dallas auditions on my DVR to watch tonight because I could deal with the signal failure no more. I did get to see the creepy crawly zombie guy from Dallas though. I saw him in the previews and he intrigued me so I had to stick around for that. Maybe they should've saved him for last LOL.
In the New York auditions I was super impressed with the last guy the hot ballet guy. I think he will go far in the competition.
I enjoyed the dance from Toshihiko Nakazawa, the Japanese guy that only spoke a few select words in English. He danced well and all three judges liked it, I can't help but think that if he had to been able to speak English he would've gotten a ticket to Vegas instead of being sent to choreography. He unfortunately quit the choreography because he couldn't do the lifts so he wouldn't have made it far even if he had gone to Vegas. I have two thoughts on this situation. By the judges sending him to choreography instead of Vegas were they discriminating against him because he can't speak English? Or were they sending him there to see if he could take direction since he can't understand English?
I can't even explain how much I love this show. There is just something about stories told through the dances that I connect with more than stories told through song. The way the dancers are able to move amazes me.
Here's what the judges have to say about this season.
