First family get away. So we didn't really take a vacation, but we did spend the day away from home. We went to Minocqua to Paul Bunyan's Restaurant and Wildwood Wildlife Park and had so much fun. We have been giving away passes to Wildwood Wildlife Park for years, but I'd never been there. So we decided to take a vacation day to take Mia there. We weren't sure how she would do, but she really liked the animals. Well, except the pig, she takes after her mother. Mia especially liked the peacocks. 

Mia fell asleep after about 3/4 of the way through, but that's okay she'll probably enjoy it more next year. It's a great size for young children and it's close to home. The Milwaukee zoo is great, but it's far and it's too big for little kids. We will be taking Mia back to Wildwood Wildlife Park next year.
