Josh is an incredible dad. He is so in love with his little girl. Yesterday he told me that even though he has to get up so much earlier in the morning to get up with Mia and get her ready he loves that one on one time he has with her everyday. He said that when he feeds her in the morning and she looks up at him during that quiet time in her room in the wee hours of the morning it feels so incredible to be the one that can give her what she needs. I looked at him and said, "now imagine how it would feel if what she needs came from your body." Breastfeeding is such an amazing connection to your baby that dad will never get, but I think now Josh can kind of imagine. I have a friend that never breastfed because her baby latching on creeped her out. I don't understand how someone could be creeped out by that, but to each their own.

It was a year ago this month that we started our fertility treatments. We are so blessed to have our little angel and I don't want to miss any opportunity to connect with her. Josh doesn't want to miss out either so every second he can be with her he jumps on it. I think seeing him with Mia makes me love him even more now than ever before.
