Mia is really teething now. She's a little drool machine and she's been a little on the fussy side. We've tried giving her teething rings, but she'll only take them if we hold them for her. She won't chew on a teething blanket or toy, but she likes to chew on her pacifier so I decided to get some of those teething pacifiers. She's so picky about her pacifiers though I'm not sure she'll like them. What are your thoughts?
I also learned that some doctors don't believe that fever and diarrhea are symptoms of teething. Dr. Sears author of The Baby Book does. Conflicting information really makes being a parent tough. I guess if Mia runs a fever over 101 I should just call the doctor to be safe.
We already clean Mia's gums with a soft brush, once every couple days. Should we start doing this more often now that she's teething? When should we take her to the dentist for the first time?
