A boy from Birmingham, Ala. will turn 12 years old at 12:12 p.m. today-- 12/12/12.

Kiam Moriya  has a New York birth certificate from 2000 to prove it.

His family jokes that he’s “the chosen one,” since they are Japanese and his birth year of 2000 is considered as the 12th year of the reign of the current emperor, known as “Heisei 12.’’

Of course, there are also some weirdos online who insist that the boy needs to be killed or that he is the Antichrist.
