We're getting ready to hit the road for vacation! My mom is coming along for the ride and she called me to remind me that I should pack a first aid kit. Good thought, it hadn't even crossed my mind!
That made me wonder what other things hadn't crossed my mind so being the list loving lady I am I decided to make a list of everything I will need and everything Mia will need for a week long trip.
After making my own list I looked up a babycenter check list and thought I'd share it for all other moms who may be traveling with a baby.
CHECKLIST:
- Diapers: One for each hour you'll be in transit
- Pad to change diapers on
- Blankets: Pack a few, one to lay baby on, one to cover baby up and an extra because babies are messy
- Plastic bags: For dirty stuff
- Diaper Rash Cream
- Hand sanitizer
- Baby wash and lotion
- Tissues
- Extra Pacifiers
- A few of your baby's favorite toys
- Clothes, socks, shoes and sleepers
- Washable bibs
- Sun hat
- Plastic feeding set
- Baby Food, Formula, Water, Snacks, and Juice
- Extra bottles, nipples and sippy cups
- Breast Pump (if you use one)
- Travel bottle warmer
- Nightlight
- FIRST AID KIT (including baby tylenol)
- Portable crib or play yard
- Inflatable baby tub (if your baby is still too young to sit up)

In addition to these things we are also bringing books to read to Mia on the way and her soothing sounds toy to help her sleep better in a strange place.
