Spend a family day at the museum for FREE! Smithsonian Magazine's Museum Day Live! Offers museum goers free tickets one day only to check out one of 14 different museums in Wisconsin. Saturday, September 29th is Museum Day and you can download free tickets now (2 per household) from smithsonian.com/museumdaylive.
From the press release I received: Museum Day Live! will be the 8th annual event celebrating education through the nation's wide array of museums and cultural institutions. For one day only, participating locations across the country will emulate the free admission policy of the Smithsonian Institution's Washington, D.C. based facilities. The program encourages learning and the disseminatiuon of knowledge nationwide.
Personally I love museums. The picture above was from our last visit to the Milwaukee Public Museum apparently in 2252. I guess someone forgot to set the date on the camera. It was a few years ago though as you can probably tell from my long dark hair.
I think I'm going to take my nephew to one of the following museums on Saturday, September 29th. I'll go download my tickets right now from smithsonian.com/museumdaylive.
