Fishing for a Cure with Walleye Trax, Dock of DuBay, Newschannel 7 and 101.9 WDEZ raised over $7000 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital last year. This year we need you to help make it even bigger. 

Fishing for a Cure was awesome last year they had beautiful weather and the prizes were amazing. This year I'm told the prizes are bigger and better! The whole event is bigger and better, besides the fishing tournament on August 25th they will also have a live band that night and a kick off party on Friday August 24th at Dock of DuBay with another live band. I will be out at Dock of DuBay on Friday for the kick off party and preregistration.

Join the fishing fun for $20 for adults and $10 for the kids. There are winners in multiple fish categories and prizes include mounts for the largest fish in each category from area taxidermists. Keep an eye out for tagged fish, if you catch one you win $100! 

Half of all proceeds benefit St. Jude so grab the kids and hit the lake on Saturday August 25th.
