So we are out at Fuddfest this week everyday. It makes for very long days when we start at 5am on the air then have to drive out to Deerbrook and hang out there until 7pm and drive home an hour.
I used to always camp at Fuddfest with friends on Friday night and Saturday night. Last year I didn't because I was pregnant and didn't think that sleeping in a camper would be very good for my back. This year I want to get home for a chance to see my baby!
Wednesday, yesterday and today I left home before she woke up and I got home after she's gone to bed. Saturday and Sunday mornings will be my only chance to see her and Sunday won't be for long because I have to be at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure by 7:30am.
All the Fudders want me to stick around and party it up, but I'm a mom now and I miss my baby. Don't get me wrong I'd love to party and camp, but I'd rather see my baby's smiling face in the morning than deal with a hangover.
When she's older I'll be registering her for a weekend getaway to Grandma and Grandpa's house.
Even if I am not staying out there I am still enjoying my time at Fuddfest. I love the atmosphere it is so much fun driving around the campsites and meeting people and seeing people that I haven't seen since last year. Fudders are all so friendly. It is so worth the hour drive!
