Mia surprised us the other day when she climbed one stair! We sat and watched her to see if she'd go up another one, but she didn't. She just stood on the bottom stair, once she lifted her leg and put her knee on the next step, but then put it back down. I guess we can't forget to put the gate up from now on. 

We also have to lower her mattress. She is starting to stand up in her crib. We should've dropped it down a couple weeks ago, but we just keep forgetting about it until we put her to bed. 

She is crawling all over the place and one of her favorite things to get into when we're not looking is the dog bowls. Yesterday I caught her splashing in the dog's water. She just looked up at me with a huge smile on her face. She also likes to open and close Kolby's kennel door.

Mia is at the age now where you can't take your eye off of her. We still have a lot of baby proofing to do. It's time to pack breakables away.
