Lady Antebellum's new album, "Own the Night", debuts at No. 1 on Billboard's country albums chart and the Billboard 200.  The trip's album sold 347,000 copies in its first week of release.

It's the highest first-week sales for any country album since Taylor Swift's "Speak Now" sold 1.05 million for the week ending on Nov. 13, 2010. It's the second time a Lady Antebellum album has debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. Their previous project, "Need You Now", accomplished the feat with sales of 481,000 copies in February 2010.

Lady Antebellum join the Dixie Chicks and Rascal Flatts as the only country groups to have topped the all-genres album chart.

On the Country Digital Tracks chart, Blake Shelton rules as 'God Gave Me You' jumps from No. 4 to No. 1. The Band Perry's 'If I Die Young' holds at No. 2 after topping the chart and registering a total in excess of 3 million downloads. Lady A are at No. 3 on that chart, with 'Just a Kiss,' nearing 1.5 million downloads.

Lady Antebellum will be the musical guest on 'Saturday Night Live' on October 1. The episode will be hosted by recent Emmy winnerMelissa McCarthy ('Mike and Molly').
