So now that baby has dropped my back has been killing me! When I walk I feel sharp twinges in my back. I went to my chiropractor and that helped a little. My doctor suggested I put a heating pad or a warm corn bag on my back. That helps for a little while. Doc says it's pretty normal to have back pain at this point in pregnancy.
The worst part is that it's so hard to get comfortable at night. I have my body pillow, but I want to roll over on my back. I also find myself putting the body pillow behind my back and sleeping on my right side instead of my left. The ideal position for a pregnant woman especially one as pregnant as me is on her left side.
Some people commented saying that their labor started as back pain. My doc doesn't think this is the case for me. At least not yet.
