Blake Shelton and Kenny Loggins will perform "Footloose" together on the CMA Awards.
Blake re-recorded the pop hit for this year's film remake. Loggins earned a three-week No. 1 pop hit in 1984.
Blake is nominated in five categories this year -- entertainer of the year, male vocalist, album (All About Tonight), single and video (both for "Honey Bee"). Loggins' other songwriting credits include "Danny's Song" and "A Love Song," which were Top 10 country hits for Anne Murray.
The CMA Awards will air live from Nashville on Nov. 9 on ABC.
Blake Shelton invited Kenny Loggins to join him during a performance of the classic hit Footloose as the opening song for the 45th Annual CMA Awards next Wednesday in Nashville.
