My baby shower is coming up and Josh and I have already registered for some gifts, but I want to be sure we're registering for the right stuff and the must have stuff.

I know that there are lots of things available out there that are just not necessary and besides being a waste of money I don't have room for stuff we don't need. What are some of the things that are unnecessary? 

The obvious must have things are a car seat, stroller, crib, crib sheet, blankets, clothes, diapers, wipes, and bottles, but what are some of the other items you deem must haves?

My friend swears I need a bottle warmer. Another says the microwave sanitizer is a must.

When registering I had so many questions. What kind of bottles do I need? What kind of diapers will work best? These are the things that the baby book says baby will decide so how do I know what to start with?

Another big question was do any storage bags work with any breast pump or are they brand specific? 

Obviously I need a lot of help.
