Ever wonder what the American Idol contracts look like? TMZ got a hold of the American Idol contract that all contestants must sign and, not surprisingly, it specifically forbids any type of relationship between singers (their family or friends as well) and judges during the competition and six months after.
So the rumors of Lee and Siobhan dating can't be true. Even if they are neither one of them can go public about it until 6 months after the show ends. I don't see them putting their chances at a huge pay day at risk like that. Here's the money break down:
Winner gets $175,000 when they start recording and another $175,000 after they deliver the album. If they record a second album they get between $275,000 and $550,000.
The second place finisher gets $150,000 to record and another $150,000 when they finish.
If any other contestants get signed to Idol's label, they get $100,000 for recording and $100,000 when the album is completed.
