Today I'm thinking about June 30th. June 30th is the release date for the 3rd installment of the Twilight saga, Eclipse. I'm so jealous of a bunch of fans who got to see Eclipse at a special screening with Oprah Winfrey this week. Though they were sworn to secrecy one fan tweeted, "I just saw Eclipse. Oh my [expletive] god. Best movie I have ever seen. The fight scenes the love scenes oh my god." Another tweeted, "Eclipse left me speechless...I couldn't contain myself. Everyone should be GLAD the movie turned out AMAZING." The sneak preview audience also attended a taping of the Oprah Winfrey Show with the movie's Stars Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart. The Oprah episode airs May 13th.
While we're on the topic of the stars of the film lets talk about Kristen Stewart who plays Bella in the Twilight Saga. K-Stew looks like the most miserable person alive pretty much everywhere you see her. At first I thought it was just because her character, Bella, was supposed to be miserable in the first and second movie so she was trying to look the part, but she offers a little insight in the June issue of Elle. "People say I'm miserable all the time," said Stewart, "It's not that I'm miserable. It's just that somebody's yelling at me...I literally, sometimes, have to keep myself from crying," on the red carpet. "It's a physical reaction to the energy that's thrown at you." As for award shows and late night talk shows she's nervous and uncomfortable. She admits she resents losing her privacy to worldwide fame, "Somebody knocked on my hotel room door and asked for a light, then said that they were a big fan. I was like, 'Do you really need me to light your cigarette? How do you know what room I'm in?' I can't be by myself and I like being by myself." When asked about her relationship with co-star Robert Pattinson she says, "I would never cheapen my relationships by talking about them. People say, 'Just say who you're dating. Then people will stop being so ravenous about it.' It's like, No they won't! They'll ask for specifics."
Robert Pattinson has the same opinion of fame. I guess that's why they make a good couple...or friends...or whatever.
