Today I'm thinking about Stephanie Meyer's new book coming out! Good news for us Twihards!!

Little, Brown Books for Young Readers will release "The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner" on June 5 with $1 from each sale going to the American Red Cross.

The novella is told from the viewpoint of Bree, a newborn vampire who is part of Victoria's Army of newborns featured in the third installment in the Twilight Saga, "Eclipse."

On her official site, Meyer says she never intended to publish Bree Tanner as a stand-alone book. It was just something she’d started working on while she was still editing Eclipse. “I was thinking a lot about the newborns, imagining their side of the story, and one thing led to another.”

It came in handy during the filming of "Eclipse" each of the actors playing the newborns in Victoria's army read it before filming began.

Meyer liked the idea of the book becoming available to Twilight fans before the movie, "Eclipse" is in theaters so true fans can be introduced to Bree.

Stephanie Meyer considers this book a gift to fans which is why she has convinced her publishers to make it available free online from June 7 to July 5 at www.breetanner.com, which will also provide a link to the American Red Cross website where they can donate to support relief efforts in Haiti, Chile, and around the globe.

"Eclipse" will be in theaters on June 30th and girls you may not have to drag your guys there kicking and screaming. According to Kellen Lutz who plays Edward's brother Emmett this movie is "badass."  “The action really drew me in and I think the guys are really going to like this movie,” Lutz says it's a lot more than the love story this time around.
