Today I'm thinking about Eclipse coming to theaters on Wednesday! The 3rd movie in the Twilight Saga hits theaters this week. It's going to be a good one. There are more fighting scenes in this one so my husband won't be as bored watching it as he was the last two.
Twilight films have been fairly tame when it comes to sex. But it sounds like breaking dawn will stay true to the book, with especially racy scenes between Edward and Bella. "You will see sex-Yes!" Breaking Dawn and Twilight screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg told PEOPLE at the Eclipse premiere in L.A. Thursday night. "The relationship between Edward and Bella does go all the way in the book, so in the movie, it will as well. You are going to see more skin in Breaking Dawn than you did in the other films," Rosenberg says. "I don't know if it has to be R-rated, but it has to be what the book is, which means more skin. ...I will definitely be writing more skin." (People)
Premieres and promotional appearances are keeping the cast of Eclipse pretty busy these days you might wonder what the stars do to unwind. Kristen Stewart, who plays Bella, and Taylor Lautner, who plays Jacob, recently enjoyed a karaoke night out! They revealed on Jimmy Kimmel's Eclipse special, that they sang a few tunes together in a private room at their hotel in South Korea. Taylor said, "We did a few! I'd say the hit of the night was probably 'The Climb'." Kristen jumped in and said, "No! It was 'Party In The USA'!" Kristen also mentioned that she and Taylor have been extreme boating and swimming with sharks during their travels. While Taylor and Kristen have been touring the world promoting Eclipse Robert Pattinson, Edward, has been busy shooting his next project, Water For Elephants, with Reese Witherspoon.
Edward isn't the only Twilight star working on other projects. Taylor Lautner is about to start filming an action movie, "Stretch Armstrong." The 18 year old star has signed up for the big-screen adaptation of the Hasbro action figure's life story, but insists the script will have to be "creative" for fans to be interested in the film character with "the worst superhero power." Lautner tells MTV.com, "It's, like, the worst superhero power, possibly, to get, and how you're going to take that and use it for good. The awesome thing with the toys is it doesn't give you a story line, so you get to create it. The development process for this movie has been awesome and it's going to continue to be. I just can't wait to see a script...I just want to see it." The movie, which will be shown in 3-D, of course, is to hit theaters in 2012-and he can't wait to get his hands on the toy version of himself as Stretch: "You get to create everything with it, which is super exciting."
