So You Think You Can Dance Auditions

Today I'm thinking about So You Think You Can Dance auditions and how much different they are than American Idol auditions. There are very few really bad dancers that you see on the So You Think You Can Dance auditions and lots of amazing ones. It's too bad because even good dancers get turned away because the competition is so tough.

I love this show because it is amazing to me how beautiful these dancers are and how they can tell such amazing stories with their bodies. This video is of my favorite dance ever on the show. It's the story of a woman with breast cancer that made everyone cry and gave me goosebumps:

This is the reason I watch the show. The talent is unbelievable.

Last night they did auditions in LA and Chicago and there was a girl from Wisconsin who auditioned and made it through to Vegas (the actual competition) she had made it through to Vegas a few years ago too, but didn't make it to the top 20. Her name is Morgan Larson and she is a relative of Vanessa Ryan's. Keep your eyes peeled for her.

Last night there were so many touching stories that it's hard to say which was the most touching, but I have to say that I was most amazed by the deaf guy, Jarell Robinson. Judge Adam Shankman was amazed how he, "actually interpreted the song correctly. It was wonderful to watch."
