Today I'm thinking about all the time, ink and web space wasted on these two. Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, who became known lovingly in the media as Speidi after they wed are now calling it quits.

Spencer and Heidi starred on the MTV show "The Hills" where they fell in love and wed April 25, 2009. Since then they continued on "The Hills" and competed on the reality show "I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here" where all the other celebrities hated them and they quit 3 different times. Spencer also became her producer when she decided she wanted a music career which hasn't panned out for her yet. But what Heidi is most famous for is her 10 plastic surgeries in 1 day and says she plans to have more done, but claims not to be addicted to plastic surgery. 

Back in June of last year while the two were on "The View" talking about all of the above, Barbara mentioned Spencer's skewed view of himself thinking that he is the biggest celebrity in the world, to which he answered, "Actually Obama is tied with Speidi right now."

Heidi isn't ready to file divorce papers yet, she decided to move out because she's had enough of Spencer's "crazy behavior." Apparently she also believes that his bad press is dragging her career down. She has only told People, "I needed some alone time. There are so many lies out there about me and I just needed space-even away from my husband."

Sources say that Spencer has also moved out of their Pacific Palisades home, with insiders telling Radaronline that his friends are worried that he's "lost his mind." One source tells Radar that Spencer claimed he was trying to contact aliens. "Their house was filled with crystals and we're not just talking small tiny ones," said the insider. "They were everywhere, to the extent that Spencer actually owed $150,000 on two giant crystals he had delivered to the home." Another said, "We are all surprised Heidi has even been able to get away from him...Spencer is so far gone now, it's almost like he's on something...because if he's not, he's really gone crazy." 

Here's more proof that Spencer has gone crazy. A friend claims that back in March Spencer pulled a gun on him. He says that Heidi and Spencer weren't leaving his house so Spencer asked him to pick up some stuff for them at the store. When he was late, Spencer pulled out the pistol. "He started talking like a gangster and threatening me," said the man.

Neither one of these people should be famous at all. And they probably wouldn't be if people like me would just quit talking about them and their crazy antics.
