Today I'm thinking about the really bad day that Lindsay Lohan had yesterday. 

We all know that Lindsay was in court yesterday because she violated her probation in a 2007 drug case by failing to attend alcohol education classes and was sentenced to 90 days in jail, but you may have missed that she was also served with a lawsuit!

Lindsay Lohan was served with legal papers yesterday as she was on her way to her probation hearing. Lindsay was in the elevator at the Beverly Hills courthouse when a process server hired by the clothing company Tough As Nails tried to serve her papers for a civil suit. Tough As Nails is suing Lindsay for not paying for more than $17,000 worth of clothing and accessories. According to the process server, Lindsay "freaked out" as he attempted to hand her the papers. She wouldn't take them so he simply dropped them by her feet on the elevator floor. Under California law, as long as the process server comes face to face with the person served he has done his job.

Seriously could things get any worse for this girl? Oh yeah, her father, Michael Lohan, whom she despises, was at her hearing. He was not allowed to speak, but he was allowed to present the court with a letter. Which you can read about on the Behind the Mic blog.

Daddy Dearest who never shies away from dishing dirty details about Lindsay to the press, tells Daily News that jail time is not what Lindsay needs. Michael has long maintained that his daughter is addicted to prescription drugs though Lindsay and her mother deny that accusation. In the Daily News interview he says that as long as prescription drugs are "in the mix, she'll never be 100 percent and have her career back. She can get off them with proper treatment, not jail." 

Her father recently shared his approval of the company that Lindsay is keeping these days saying that her new BFF Kim Kardashian is a good influence on Lindsay. Not only does Lindsay have a new BFF, but it also sounds as if she may have a new BF too. Lindsay Lohan and Kelly Brook's ex-boyfriend, rugby player Danny Cipriani have been spotted together twice in 48 hours. They were spotted leaving an LA nightclub together late last week and he was was spotted entering Lindsay's apartment early Saturday morning. A source said: "He's really fallen for Lindsay. Maybe it's a bit of a rebound thing from Kelly, but Danny can't get enough of his new girl." What will happen when she's locked up for 90 days? If the Sheriff is right, due to overcrowding and budget cuts she may only serve out 10% of her sentence and then be placed on house arrest, I guess her new beau could hang with her at home.
