Today I'm thinking about Eclipse mainly because I haven't seen it yet so I'm always thinking about it. I am waiting until the hype settles a little so I don't have to battle the crowds quite so much. I may be waiting quite a while though it seems. Eclipse didn't break more records, but it upped it's five-day, worldwide total to an estimated $261.2 million. It also won the weekend keeping the critic-defying Last Airbender at number 2.
This Twilight movie has way more action in it than the last two. Which is why my husband is cool with taking me to the theater to see it.
Twilight hunk Kellan Lutz, Emmett Cullen, said that Jackson Rathbone, Jasper Cullen, ended up in the hospital during filming after he was accidently punched during a fight scene. Lutz says, "I punched Jackson in the face because he annoyed me. No, I'm joking, it was an accident. I smacked him in the temple and knocked him out. He ended up going to the hospital, but was back on set the next day."
While the movie is blowing up the actors search for a little normalcy Twilight star, Ashley Green, Alice Cullen, has stepped out of LA and escaped to New York. She like all of the other Twilight Saga stars has gained a legion of fans and has been a regular in gossip columns so she decided to move to Manhattan in a quest for a more peaceful life. She says, "The other day I had eight paparazzi following me. And for what? To watch me eat ice cream? It's just silly. That's why I'm looking for an apartment in New York. There's so much going on here (in New York) and I don't think everything would drop just because I walked into a room. It's nice. There are times where I have to sit back and breathe but at the end of the day I would rather have this life than not." (Teen Hollywood)
Kristen Stewart, Bella Swan, has routinely spoken out about how much she hates fame using choice words about the paparazzi that have gotten her into some hot water. She would do better to keep her mouth shut!
Kristen recently revealed why she doesn't like premieres. Brace yourself this sounds crazy! "I don't feel very comfortable on the red carpet," she told Hello! Magazine. "I look out there at a thousand people and I realize they could rush me and assassinate me." She adds, "No security could protect me. Ostensibly they're fans but I think about them turning on me."
Seriously? That's what you think about? I'd be thinking, "Is my hair OK? My dress? Everyone will see these pictures in a few hours so I better be perfect." But not crazy K-Stew she thinks about what a great opportunity this would be for someone to kill her. She is such a downer!
At least the 16 year old Dakota Fanning, Jane in the mega movie franchise, has a better lease on life. She's always been pretty good at keeping herself grounded even though she's had a much bigger career thus far than any of the other Twilight Stars.
Dakota is doing what any high school student her age should do instead of sweating on the red carpet thinking someone is going to end her she's sweating the results of her ACTs. She fears she may have failed her ACT test which will determine her choices for a college. She explains, "I took the ACT. I got the email today saying, 'Your scores are on the way.' So now I know to watch for the envelope and hide it for a few weeks. I'm just afraid I didn't do well because I came out (of the exam) and I was like, 'Oh that was easy! That was not hard.' My confidence is completely gone." (Teen Hollywood)
