Rumors that Simon Cowell and Ellen DeGeneres aren't getting along on American Idol just won't go away. The bad blood started when Ellen rearranged her schedule in order to be on time for Idol's first week, only to wait an hour for Simon to show up. Well, things have only gotten worse. Sources say Ellen isn't happy about how cruel Simon is towards contestants, and Simon takes pleasure in annoying her. Sources say the two don't even try to hid their distaste for one another, and the conflict is the reason Ellen's judging seat was moved from next to Simon to the opposite end of the table. 

She has made jokes about their relationship. Saying the reason why there is tension between them is because he has a crush on her.
