Today I'm thinking about 3 nights in a row of American Idol! We are down to the top 24 now, the girls performed last night, the guys will perform tonight and Thursday is the results show.

The girls have been predicted to be strong this year and the judges all seem to feel that this is a girl's year to win which would be nice since we've seen guys win the last two years. 

After their performances last night it's hard to say which two ladies will be saying their goodbyes, but in my personal opinion the three weakest ladies last night were Janell, Haeley and Lacey. 

Last night was the first live show of the season and the first ever for Ellen. It was good though. A few little glitches, but nothing big. Ryan is the captain of the ship so if things start getting out of control he needs to work with them or fix them on the spot and be smooth about it. He said, "If I feel like I'm losing control, I will toss to commercial so then I get the last word." You don't think that he might be referring to Simon's jibber jabber do you?

Tonight the guys hit the stage I'm interested to see what they've got. I don't have any favorites yet it's far too early for that. 

Thursday is the first live results show. 17 year old American Idol season 8 finalist (4th) Allison Iraheta will perform her latest single "Scars" from her debut album "Just Like You". Then 2 guys and 2 girls will be headed home.
