Today I'm thinking about Shania on American Idol. She did a really great job with the contestants on the "music of Shania Twain" theme. She was a little nervous for the guys to sing her songs since they were written by her for her, but was ultimately happy with the outcome. Listen to the clip for her advice to the contestants.

Lee DeWyze started the show off with "You're Still The One" and all the judges liked his performance. Kara liked that he cracked a smile or two, but Simon said his facial expressions were weird.

Michael Lynche AKA Big Mike, sang "It Only Hurts When I'm Breathing" and it was beautiful, however Simon said it was "wet". Don't worry no one else knew what that meant either.

Casey James was my favorite performance of the night. He did an awesome job with "Don't" and all the judges agreed it was his best performance to date.

Crystal Bowersox didn't knock my socks off with "No One Needs To Know," but she was the only person to sing it like a country song. All the judges and I agree that this wasn't her best performance, but she's still great.

Aaron Kelly did "You've Got A Way," another ballad from him makes me a little bored, but he did sing well. Kara liked that he changed a few of the words to fit him better. He impressed all the judges with his connection with the song because he's so young, he said he was singing it to his mom. My heart melted a little. No way that kid goes home this week.

Siobhan Magnus performed "Any Man Of Mine" and didn't put enough attitude in it in my opinion. Simon didn't like her screaming at the end and I agree that it didn't fit the song, it was just kind of random. I know that's her thing, but she doesn't have to do it every single week. All the other judges liked it though. I think this might be the end of the road for her, but I could be wrong. Watch American Idol tonight to find out if I'm right.
