Today I'm thinking about Ellen. Juggling her talk show and American Idol is apparently getting to be too much for Ellen DeGeneres. "We fear she's headed for a total breakdown," a source tells The National Enquirer. "We're afraid she has cracked under the pressure." American Idol seems to be the main cause of Ellen's stress. Sources say she feels like she's being blamed for anything that goes wrong with the show. Adds the insider, "it's really eating her up inside." The stress has caused Ellen's whole attitude to change. "She's not always her bouncy, vibrant self," said the source. "She's snippy with people, is more easily distracted and needs a few more minutes of makeup to deal with the bags under her eyes."

I hope she can work through it because I do enjoy her little quips even though sometimes they're hard to follow like the strange analogies she always made for Tim Urban's performances. 

Tim Urban has been dismissed after a much too long a run on American Idol. He was featured on the website Vote for the Worst for 9 weeks straight. When asked about it the smiley Urban's smile faded, "I'm not excited I was on their website. It's really not anything that anybody should be proud of. I really didn't like being on there. Basically I was working my hardest to get off of it. I'm actually kind of sad that I was on that website." Well Tim, the good news is that now that you're off the show they have to find someone else to pick on. 

I have a feeling next week, country week, is going to be a tough week for some of the contestants, Siobhan immediately leaps to mind so she may be the next victim of Vote for the Worst.

Past American Idol winner, country superstar, Carrie Underwood performed during Idol Gives Back so we won't be seeing her perform during country week. To see who will perform go Behind the Mic.

Back stage at the Idol Gives Back show Carrie was asked if she has a favorite contestant this year, "I quit having favorites because I would have a favorite and then they would get voted off," she said. She says she TiVos the show on her tour bus so she can watch and is sure she'll develop a favorite, but she'll keep it to herself.
