Today I'm thinking about Eddie Cibrian's not so warm welcome at the ACMs. 

First lets quickly revisit the story. In 2001, CSI Miami actor, Eddie Cibrian married model, Brandi Glanville. Eddie and Brandi have two children together Mason who is now 6 and Jake 2.

In 2002, 19 year old country starlet Leann Rimes married 22 year old dancer Dean Sheremet. In 2008, they hosted a 7 year itch party to celebrate their anniversary. Maybe that theme wasn't so far from the truth. 

In 2009, Leann Rimes and Eddie Cibrian met while filming the Lifetime Movie "Northern Lights" and the two really hit it off. Rumors started flying about the two having an off-screen romance as hot as their on-screen one.

They double dated to try to throw off the rumors, but it may have just been an excuse to see each other. They repeatedly "bumped" into each other and were spotted together in public at sporting events and at restaurants. 

Cibrian's wife Brandi was getting suspicious and asked that Eddie stop communicating with Rimes, but she continued to call him and text him. Glanville called Rimes a "stalker." Cibrian told the press that he and his wife were seeking counseling, but not long after he announced their marriage was over. 

Shortly after Cibrian's divorce plans were made public sources reported that Leann Rimes and her husband Dean Sheremet had been separated for a long time and that they too were going to end their marriage.

Not long after their divorces were out in the open Eddie Cibrian and Leann Rimes made their relationship public. Glanville has been very open with the press about her anger and resentment toward both Eddie and Leann, but especially Leann. 

Just a couple months ago Leann Rimes opened an unofficial Twitter account under the name Wewenlove and tweeted "Love him" referring to her one year anniversary with Cibrian. Her ex Sheremet tweeted back, "You should feel proud of that...Considering you were still married [to me] this time last year." That's the first serious shot I've heard Sheremet take at her since this situation transpired. 

On Sunday night at the ACMs Eddie Cibrian presented an award to Lady Antebellum, people in the press room yelled, "Cheater!"

Well, the upside is that even though Cibrian is a cheater at least he only cheated on his wife with Rimes and he's in a relationship with her now unlike these other sleazy celebs (Jesse James and Tiger Woods) who have cheated with handfuls of different women.
