Today I'm thinking about Kate Gosselin's next reality show. Half of the parenting duo from "Jon and Kate Plus 8" has turned into quite the reality TV Diva. Kate is currently competing on "Dancing With The Stars," where she is making no friends. Once that wraps she'll be hot on the promotion trail for her upcoming TLC reality show "Twist of Kate."
Since their divorce it is no secret that Jon and Kate do not get along. Since Kate has been on "Dancing with the Stars" Jon claims that the show has made her an absentee mom and he even went so far as to say he is going to take Kate to court to sue for custody of their 8 children. However, a source recently told RadarOnline.com that Jon himself has gone weeks without seeing his children for no other reason than to spend time with his girlfriend.
He makes it sound on the surface like he's so concerned with the children, but some speculate that he's really just out of money. Kate is out there working to support her kids and he's gallivanting all over the country with his numerous girlfriends. I think he's jealous of Kate's continued success and he's trying to muck up her plans just like he did with the TLC reality show "Kate Plus 8" which he halted production on for fear that it would be bad for the children. Since TLC's lawsuit against Jon the series won't be airing, but expect some specials following Kate as a single mom which will include the children.
Kate's new reality show "Twist of Kate" will touch on her home life, but will be more focused on Kate as an example for other moms. She told the crowd during a press conference on Thursday that she is "excited" to "share with you the next chapter in my life." The show, which debuts on TLC this summer will follow the single mother, 35, as she raises her 8 children, as well as profile other women who are also in their own challenging situations. She said, "Every day I hear from women across the country who have incredible stories but are overwhelmed with their lives, asking me for advice on everything from potty training to organization." She adds, "So on my new show 'Twist of Kate,' I'm going to spend a few days in their lives experiencing their challenges first hand and lending a helping hand and maybe even some time off."
