Today I'm thinking about how mad I am at America! No not over the health care bill, over American Idol of course. How in the world could America vote Tim Urban safe and send Big Mike Lynche packing? 

Last night on the show the bottom 3 were all guys (for the first time since we got into the top 12), Michael Lynche, Andrew Garcia and Aaron Kelly. I wasn't surprised to see Andrew and Aaron there, but BIG MIKE? He's pretty much awesome! He's so big and sweet you just wanna hug him. I think it's so sweet too that he and his little tiny wife are high school sweethearts. 

Well once Ryan announced who was in danger of going home unless the judges agreed unanimously to use their one save for the season I just about jumped through the roof! I couldn't believe that Michael Lynche actually came out of Ryan's mouth! While Big Mike sang is heart out (hear the clip below) the judges discussed and debated frantically. Once Michael finished singing it was time for Simon to reveal the judges decision, would Michael Lynche stay or would he go? Simon reminded us that there is only one save allowed for the entire season and said the judge's decision was in fact unanimous, "We have decided we're going to see you next week!" And just as Simon said that my DVR recording stopped. I'm so glad he got the word stay out before my DVR stopped recording or I would've been so angry! Not knowing whether or not they used the save. 

I'm so happy they used the one and only save on Big Mike, but oh man will I be mad they used it on him if Crystal ends up going home next week. I think they made the right decision because I think Big Mike could be in the final 4. What do you think? (comment below)

I'm thinking of starting a "STOP VOTING FOR TIM URBAN" group on Facebook. That kid needs to go home he doesn't have the talent, but apparently does have the look.
