Today I'm thinking about NEW MOON the second movie in the Twilight Saga. I loved it! Josh took me to see it on Saturday night. Opening weekend was huge! NEW MOON was the 3rd highest grossing movie on it's opening weekend of all time! Right behind THE DARK KNIGHT and SPIDERMAN 3.

We knew it would be crazy busy being opening weekend and all so we bought our tickets for the Mega Screen in Stevens Point 3 hours early and they were already nearly sold out! We arrived at the theater about an hour early and we were 150 people or so back in line waiting to get in while the last showing wrapped up. 

The movie was really good! Josh didn't think it was worth the wait, but also thought it was good. It was way truer to the book than the first so I was happy about that and Josh was happy that it had more action than the first.

I know what it was like at our little theater I can't imagine what it was like at some of the openings in the big cities! The cast was at the Thursday night opening in New York City and Peter Facinelli who plays Dr. Carlisle Cullen said, "That was pretty phenomenal. To show up somewhere and have six blocks of screaming fans is pretty fantastic."

I love Peter Facinelli! He Tweets regularly, he is handsome, you never have to wonder about his relationship status because he is happily married to Jennie Garth and has three beautiful little girls and he plays a seriously cool vampire! He of course gets hidden in the shadows of Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, but in my world he's great!!
