TMZ reports:

Balloon boy's dad, Richard Heene gets 90 days in jail for his role in the October hoax.

The judge has allowed 60 of the 90 days to be on a work release program. 

He was also ordered to 4 years probation. With a condition forbidding him from profiting on the incident during that 4 year period.

He will begin his sentence on January 11th, 2010. 

His wife Mayumi Heene has been sentenced to 20 days in jail and will serve her time after her husband's release.
