Wednesday Wendy Savage from our local Red Cross joined us on the show. She spoke about the biggest need for the Haitian relief effort; Money and Blood Donations.

For monetary donations the easiest way still to donate is by texting the word "Haiti" to 90990 and having $10 charged to your cell phone bill. It is lagit and all procedes go directly to the the American Red Cross.

Here are some local blood drives that will be happening in our area where you can donate blood as well:

Wednesday January 27th - Hawthorn Hills School 2:30 to 6:30pm. Call for an appointment 261-0045.

Friday Febuary 5th - Wausau Center Mall 10 am to 3 pm. Call for an appointment  842-2156

Febuary 12th - Rib Mountain Fire Department 12:30 pm to 5pm. Call for an appointment 1-800-GIVE-LIFE.
