DAVID HASSELHOFF is getting out of America's Got Talent. He announced through a statement to People magazine that he's leaving the NBC summer competition after four seasons as a judge. The 57-year-old Hoff said, quote, "It's been a rewarding experience and now I'm thrilled to be able to follow my dream to do my own TV show, which will be announced very shortly." Reports last fall stated that Hasselhoff was in talks to do a cable reality show with his kids.
NBC released its own statement, wishing Hasselhoff the best of luck with his new project. According to People magazine, the network will attempt to replace Hasselhoff on America's Got Talent, but there are no candidates as of yet. The remaining judging panel consists of SHARON OSBOURNE and PIERS MORGAN.
